Plot [if any] For as long as anyone could remember, the land of Volae had remained peaceful, the title describing not only the terrain claimed by the Volaeans, but also the first hundred or so miles of outskirt land encompassing it. The no man land, as it had been come to call, had been created before the time of many and for the sole purpose of wondering wolven to pass safely from one packland to another. Until recent times order had remained intact, its unwritten laws known by all. That, of course, was before the coming of.....
Cast from pack to pack, they had no desire for acceptance into the make believe world so many others found themselves enveloped within. A fantasy that caused the easing of their minds but the weakening of their souls. How could a wolf allow himself to bow unshamefully to an alpha that need not prove himself? Who would answer to such incompetence, they were unsure. Their greed and merciless demeanor caused them to lash out and no repentance was found held in their gaze. They traveled from border to border, keeping to the outskirts as they continued the life of a rogue, unruled by any and bothering to answer to no one.
That was before the time of Dirius Rogue. Though few know of his true past, many a story lies behind the motives of the misunderstood and somewhat barbarious male. It's been months since rumors have begun to fly, but the evidence of his new found 'group' is slowly becoming apparent.
The Swindlers, Dirius's band of rogues, seem not to mind the law set by the elders before them, binding together with only one purpose in mind...To create a new legacy of wolves far better than any pack could ever imagine.
So what path is it you follow?
The one of an outcast fighting for the right to live,
Or the one of a pack member ruled by the traditions and content with just that?
