When you think about the creation of the world, what comes to mind? Is it God, or Jesus, or Moses, or Allah that you think of? Or do you think of a huge explosion?

Religious practices have been demoted severely since the world's birth, around 6014 years ago. Most creatures still hear the legends and stories of how Elliona was created from their parents and grandparents as bed time stories, though most don’t believe them anymore. But they are true. The gods exist but they are not without fault like the stories say. With the many centuries that have passed the gods and goddess have become lazy and careless. They have begun to neglect the world and have done nothing when everything began to fall into chaos. Ten years have passed and small chaos has become complete darkness and a huge mess.

The four great creators of this word have all gone down and are no more then shadows to the world. Orlaith was locked up in a cell down in hell and the two gods have vanished. The great goddess Ayele did not perish however, but she cannot be found. No one knows where she has gone or has been taken to. It is possible that Orlaith had something to do with it though. The dark goddess has disappeared from her prison cell down in hell and is plotting. She seeks to raise an army yet again. An army of vampires and demons and perhaps something that the world has not seen since the beginning of time.

A creature so rare they have become no more then legend and fable. Through all the years the shifters, vampires, demons, and humans have kept to their own race. It was unheard of for any of the creatures to mingle. But the occasional mistakes did happen. Teens fell in love. They where blinded by their passion and logic and reason left them. The creatures that where created were more powerful then either parent. They received the ability of both. They had no weaknesses except the few that both parents shared. They were called hybrids.

Hybrids where rare, no they were more then rare. They were legend. There had never been enough for them to stand out. No more then 4 existed on Elliona at a time and they always lived in secret without revealing themselves. Hybrids where dangerous creatures and if the 4 ever united, there would be trouble on the horizon. More trouble then you could ever imagine. But that has happened now. 5 hybrids have banded together and Orlaith is trying to find them and persuade them to join her in her quest.

While this is happening, the humans remain oblivious. They have no clue that they are on the verge of destruction and that if they aren’t careful a huge wave of magic will fall over them. A fantasy coming to life. There are already some humans who have discovered that those scary bedtime stories hold some truth to them.

As for the shape-shifters and demons? The shape-shifters are still trying to discover a way to keep the vampires at bay and the demons are simply staying to themselves.
