03.28.09 - Well, after a few hours work moving threads and messing with colors, all the threads with their last reply from back in 2008 are tucked away and we have a new purple skin. Not much else to say I guess, but get to role playing again Kismet! - Donkey
02.25.09 - There is a character check up, please respond and get your dogs up to date. The old Character Names and Breeds list is way outdated and many are no longer current. Also, if anyone has a color scheme for a skin, go ahead and pm me the color. - Donkey
02.20.09 - So Weather, Ice, Violation, and a few of the older members returned, we have also gained a few new members. The site is getting active again! The season changes to summer on March the 3rd, and hopefully by then the sites activity will have picked up majorly. 01.02.2009 - Hello everyone and I hope that so far you are enjoying your new year. I know that I am. I am currently getting ready to make a new skin for the site even though this is one of my favorite. Weather has been updated.
12.17.2008 - With me working I have not had to much time here, and I now grant Tsavo her admin powers back, and I removed Belle from the admin because she left and I guess deleted her account. I also thank Donkey for updating the weather, by the way it has now been updated again. I will be more active here as I am learning finally how to juggle work and real life. <3 I am sorry for my absence lately.
12.10.2008 - Wow, the weather was way outdated. I changed it so now we are on the correct season and month. Make sure you know this if you are planning on letting your dog have pups as the amount and health will be poor.

10.30.2008 - Season month is now June guys! YAY! and there have been a few new free lands as well as packlands placed up (in the other unclaimables). I begin my job tomorrow, but I will still be active on here, promise! You have my word there. I would like to congratulate Donkey and Rain for being promoted to Global Moderators, and to apologize to Blu for removing Blu from the staff for inactivity. When//if you become active again pm me and I will get you back on as a Moderator. I will also be having tryouts for mods soon, as I feel it needed so keep an eye out for it. Have a safe and happy Halloween tomorrow. =D And don't forget to send in your November Spotlight Nominations.

Breed of the Week:
Tibetan Mastiff !
Noble and impressive: a large, powerful, heavy, well built dog, well muscled, with much substance and bone, and of solemn but kindly appearance. The Tibetan Mastiff stands well up on the pasterns, with strong, tight, cat feet, giving an alert appearance. The body is slightly longer than tall. The head is broad and impressive, with massive back skull, the eyes deep-set and almond shaped, slightly slanted, the muzzle broad and well-padded, giving a square appearance. The typical expression of the breed is one of watchfulness. The tail is well feathered and carried over the back in a single curl falling over the loin, balancing the head. The coat and heavy mane is thick, with coarse guard hair and a wooly undercoat. The tail and britches are well feathered.
The Tibetan Mastiff has been used primarily as a family and property guardian for many millennia, and is aloof and watchful of strangers, and highly protective of its people and property.

The Packs
Belle Mountains (8 sub-boards) This is the Belle Mountain Pack. They are the good dogs.
Pine Valley (9 sub-boards) This is the Pine Valley Pack. They are Sidelanders, that meaning that they are neutral, but they have more evil in them than good.
Savage River (6 sub-boards) This is the Savage River Pack. The dogs that reside here are evil at heart. I do not suggest entering these lands unless you to are cold blooded.
Abandoned School Yard This school yard was built a while back. It is no longer in use, but it provides shelter for the strays that roam the city. Moderator: ADMIN

Dreamland Amusement Park This is the amusement park that is called Dreamland. It is like a mixture of eveyone's dreams [hence the name Dreamland]. Though it isn't closed down or abandoned, it is only open from Spring to Fall and it is closed during the winter months. Food here is plentliful during those open months, and some can be found during the winter. There are a few shelters here as well. Moderator: ADMIN

New School Yard Starting in Autumn and lasting through the Spring months, this is where the kids of the city attend school. Years: Pre-K to 12th Grade come here. Some will feed you, others will throw stuff at you. But, if you wait until after playtime there is always plently of food and crumbs left laying around. Moderator: ADMIN

Crimson Vale (7 sub-boards) Darkness swells from every crevice, both taunting and beckoning as it threatens to swallow the land whole. For those lighter of heart, this is a place of condemning and dread to be avoided at all costs. But for those who are guided by shadows that whisper in the night, it is a haven. A world of blood and fire mingled with the blackness that reaps the souls of the innocent. Though a hostile, cruel land, there is high reward for those who can prove themselves worthy. There's only one question: Can you survive?
Old Playground Even though this is an old playground, the people of today still use it. There is alot of things here: a swing, a slide, and bunch of other toys and things for little kids to play with. There is a fountain in the middle of it and there are picnic tables to the right of the park. Moderator: ADMIN

Train Yard This is the city train yard. It connects the city to a few of the surrounding cities. While it is hardly ever used to transport humans anymore because of cars and what not, it is still used to transport some materials. The people who work here usually don't mind the strays hanging around, just...watch out for oncoming trains. Moderator: ADMIN

Parking Garage This is a Parking Garage. There are four above ground levels and and two underground levels. Moderator: ADMIN

The City Zoo This is the town zoo. There are many animals here, ranging from tigers, lions, bears, alligators, zebras, and a bunch of others. The main attraction for the humans is the rare White Tiger that resides here. Though, there are also leopards and panthers, and even a few mountain lions. A pack of wolves reside here as well. The Showtime This is the showtime. Once you are inside it you can go two ways. After you enter the main entrance, there is plenty of food and crumbs lying around. To the left you go and walk down the hallway and it leads to the actual showtime, with people performing and acting live. To the right you have the actual movie theater. Moderator: ADMIN

Fox Trot City
Festivals This is where all of the city Festivals are held. They take place almost every season: Easter, Halloween, Christmas, ect... A great place to find food. Moderator: ADMIN

Silver Comet Trail This is a trail that goes all the way around the city. Humans love to walk or ride their bikes on it. Some people even walk their house pets. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the trail. There is plently of shade, sunshine, and rivers around this trail. Moderator: ADMIN

Museums This is the city Museum. It is open during the day, and closed during the night. Though, some dogs can sneak in and hide and explore the mysterious museum at night. Moderator: ADMIN

Corporate Center This is a nice, big, hardly used Corporate Center. It used to be a very large buisness that ran out of it, but there are hardly ever humans here now. It is a great place to come just to hang out. But alot of force breeding and mating happens here. Though it is mainly the first of the two. Moderator: ADMIN

The Aquarium This is Fox Trot Aquarium. It is a huge place and is filled with lots of fishes, some exotic and rare and some just normal fish. There are sharks, whales, and otters here as well. It is a romantic place to bring a dog, if you can manage to get in. Moderator: ADMIN

Sunken Treasure Trove (7 sub-boards) What would be worse on your mind than hearing the shrieks of Pirate’s past haunts? Aye; here you cannot escape such a torment. It borders the junkyards where they turn to rocky sand. Many dare not follow the path for the rocks are sharp and hurt their pads, but it does not take that brave of a soul to stick it out. Within only a few moments you find yourself staring into the darkness of a large cave; water from the shoreline you stand upon lapping against the wall. If you enter further, you find it; the rotting form of a long forgotten pirate ship. The mast is broken against the wall and the ship is rotting and falling apart. But if you venture inside, who knows what you will find? The land, they say, is haunted, which is why some caring soul must tend to what he plants. The name encompasses the beach all the way up to the junkyard, and directs the traffic to the sea. In the cold, it is best to go inside one of the caves many tunnels and cuddle together. There it is easiest to stay warm.
The Old Kingdom (4 sub-boards) This where the old castle that used to rule over the area. There moat that goes around it is still full of water, and there are fishes in it. There is a bridge that leads over it, and thought the castle is barely standing now, there are plenty of ways into it. The best part about the castle is also the most stable. It is an underground dungeon where a lot of bad things can happen. Don’t forget to check out the garden as well, there seems to be always something blooming there. Moderators: ADMIN, Amaya, Akaine

The Outskirts (9 sub-boards) These are the Outskirts of the town of Kismet. There are many different things here, some strange and others normal. Do not be shocked at anything that you find here. The Farmlands (4 sub-boards) This is the farmlands. There are plenty of land here. The barn is still in pretty good shape and so is the old abandon cabin that lays just on top of the hill. Though this is not the only farm around this area, it is the biggest of them. There is a pretty big building on the other side of the house that still holds a few things, it is well insulated like the barn and it stays pretty warm.
